Privacy Policy
1. Controller and scope
This policy applies only to LineBreakers, an iPhone and iPad game published by PureCodeBase and operated by Nico Würthenberger, Bissingerstraße 8, 75172 Pforzheim, Germany.
Contact: purecodebase@gmail.com. Provider details are available in the Impressum.
2. Local game data
LineBreakers stores the information needed to continue the game in a local save file in the app's container. This includes hero levels and skill ranks, your gear and inventory, gold and crafting materials, campaign progress on each difficulty, best Endless waves, the date of the last daily mission won and the latest device time seen for it, which one-time purchases you own, the identifiers of store transactions already granted, the time of the last ad shown, and settings such as music, sound, graphics, and frame rate.
This game data is not uploaded to a PureCodeBase server. The game has no account system, login, cloud save, or developer-operated online profile. Deleting the app may permanently remove local progress.
3. Current iOS services and permissions
- Missions and local progress work without a network connection or an account. Consent, advertising, and purchase or restore flows may require network access.
- The iOS app includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for interstitial ads, optional rewarded videos, consent, and privacy choices. The app does not use first-party analytics or crash reporting.
- UMP determines whether ads may be requested. Depending on region and the user's choices, Google may serve personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads.
- The app can request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission through Google's consent flow. The advertising identifier (IDFA) is only available to the advertising SDK if you allow tracking. If you deny it, the app does not receive tracking authorization.
- In-app purchases (gold packs and a forge crate as consumables; a starter pack and an Ad-Free Pass as one-time non-consumables) are processed by Apple through the App Store. The app uses Unity In-App Purchasing on the device to communicate with Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes payment and transaction data under Apple's terms and privacy policy; the app does not receive payment-card details. We do not use Unity accounts, Unity Analytics, or Unity's direct web store.
- The daily mission uses the device's date and time; no time server is contacted.
- The game does not request contacts, location, camera, microphone, photo library, or notification access.
4. Advertising and third-party processing
When advertising is available, Google Mobile Ads and UMP may process information needed to provide and measure ads, such as device or advertising identifiers, an approximate location derived from the IP address, ad interactions, performance and diagnostic data, consent state, and related technical information. Google's processing is governed by Google's terms and privacy documentation. Consent choices and regional rules affect which processing and ad types are available. With the Ad-Free Pass, the game shows no interstitial ads and grants video bonuses without a video. With the Ad-Free Pass active, the app does not start Google Mobile Ads or the UMP consent flow at launch; a pass bought during a session stops ads at once and the SDKs stay off from the next launch.
LineBreakers does not upload local game progress or settings to PureCodeBase. In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Support messages are handled as described below.
5. Support messages
If you email support or a privacy request, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, such as your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, app version, a description, or screenshots. We use that information to answer the request, investigate the reported issue, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not use support messages for advertising or profiling.
6. Retention and sharing
Local game data remains on your device until you delete the app or the platform removes it. Google and Apple retain and process information according to their own policies and applicable settings. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or share local game progress with third parties.
7. Children
LineBreakers contains frequent cartoon or fantasy combat and is not directed to children. It is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the free version includes third-party advertising, parents and guardians should review the available UMP and ATT choices and platform settings before allowing use.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of personal information, and to withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. Contact purecodebase@gmail.com for a request. You may also contact the relevant supervisory authority.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app, its data practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated with material revisions.
