Privacy Policy

For: OddScene: Spot the Difference

Effective and last updated: September 20, 2026

1. Controller and scope

This policy applies only to OddScene: Spot the Difference, an iPhone and iPad game published by PureCodeBase and operated by Nico Würthenberger, Bissingerstraße 8, 75172 Pforzheim, Germany.

Contact: purecodebase@gmail.com. Provider details are available in the Impressum.

2. Local game data

OddScene stores the information needed to continue the game in the app's local container. This can include level completion, stars, scores, streaks, attempts, the last selected scene, first-run tutorial state, the cached Full Version entitlement, and local preferences such as Reduced Motion, haptics, and sound effects.

This game data is not uploaded to a PureCodeBase server. OddScene has no account system, login, cloud save, or developer-operated online profile. Deleting the app or clearing its local data may permanently remove local progress.

3. Current iOS services and permissions

4. Advertising and third-party processing

When the free iOS advertising path is available, Google Mobile Ads and UMP may process information needed to provide and measure ads, such as device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostics, consent state, and related technical information. Google's processing is governed by Google's terms and privacy documentation. Consent choices and regional rules affect which processing and ad type are available.

OddScene does not upload local game progress, scores, or settings to PureCodeBase. StoreKit transactions are processed by Apple. Support messages are handled as described below.

5. Support messages

If you email support or a privacy request, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, such as your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, app version, a description, or screenshots. We use that information to answer the request, investigate the reported issue, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not use support messages for advertising or profiling.

6. Retention and sharing

Local game data remains on your device until you reset it, delete the app, or the platform removes it. Google and Apple retain and process information according to their own policies and applicable settings. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or share local game progress with third parties.

7. Children

OddScene is not directed to children and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the free iOS experience can include third-party advertising, parents and guardians should review the available UMP and ATT choices and platform settings before allowing use.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of personal information, and to withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. Contact purecodebase@gmail.com for a request. You may also contact the relevant supervisory authority.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app, its data practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated with material revisions.
