Terms of Service

For: OddScene: Spot the Difference

Effective and last updated: September 20, 2026

1. Acceptance and license

By downloading, installing, or using OddScene: Spot the Difference, you agree to these Terms. PureCodeBase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial entertainment use, subject to applicable law and the Apple App Store terms.

2. The game

OddScene is a portrait observation game with an offline core. You memorize illustrated scenes and identify a deliberate visual change. The game does not require an account or subscription. The free iOS experience can include optional advertising, and the Full Version is an optional one-time purchase. Content, balance, platform support, and availability may change as the game is updated.

3. Local progress

Progress, stars, scores, tutorial state, accessibility preferences, audio preferences, and other game data are stored locally on your device. There is no cloud save in the current MVP. We are not responsible for progress lost through app deletion, device reset, storage clearing, failed migration, or device damage. Do not rely on the app as the sole backup of important information.

4. Purchases, advertising, and privacy choices

The optional Full Version is a one-time non-consumable purchase processed through Apple StoreKit 2. Apple controls billing, pricing display, transaction processing, and restore synchronization. The free iOS experience can use Google Mobile Ads and UMP consent for rewarded hints and interstitials. Depending on region and consent choices, advertising may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited. The app can request ATT where applicable. See the Privacy Policy and Privacy Choices for data and consent details.

5. Fair use

6. Availability and liability

The game is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We may fix bugs, rebalance content, add or remove scenes, change features, or discontinue a pre-release build. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms when the app, its services, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated with material revisions. German law applies unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

8. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to purecodebase@gmail.com. Provider details are in the Impressum.
