Privacy Policy
1. Controller and scope
This policy applies to PromptGames, an iOS app published by PureCodeBase and operated by Nico Würthenberger, Bissingerstraße 8, 75172 Pforzheim, Germany. Contact: purecodebase@gmail.com. Provider details are available in the Impressum.
2. Data stored on your device
PromptGames is designed to work locally and without an account. The app stores game settings, favorites, history, saved setups, Game Night groups, house rules, playlists, completion records, challenges, language preferences, and appearance settings on your device so the app can resume where you left off.
Prompt text and game configuration are generated on the device. PromptGames does not operate a developer-owned backend, does not call an AI API, and does not automatically transmit prompts or game content. Removing the app or clearing its local data can permanently remove this information.
3. Accounts, advertising, and tracking
- PromptGames does not require an account, registration, login, contacts, location, camera, microphone, or notification permission.
- The app contains no advertising, analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, cross-app tracking, or App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- The app uses only Apple system frameworks for its local interface, storage, sharing, browser handoff, and purchases.
4. Apple purchases
PromptGames offers one optional, non-consumable Full Unlock. Six game templates remain free and the purchase unlocks the other 44 templates. Apple processes payment information and App Store transactions under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. PureCodeBase does not receive or store your payment-card details.
The app receives the transaction or entitlement status needed to unlock the purchased content and support Restore Purchases. Purchase and restore checks may require a network connection. For Apple’s privacy information, see Apple Privacy.
5. External chat websites and sharing
After an explicit action, you may copy a prompt, use the iOS Share Sheet, or open a fixed public HTTPS address for a selected external chat provider. PromptGames does not place prompt text into a URL and does not send it to that provider automatically. If you paste or share content into another service, that service’s terms and privacy policy apply.
6. Support messages
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, such as your device model, iOS version, app version, language, or screenshots. We use it to answer your request, investigate an issue, and meet legal obligations. Do not send passwords, payment-card information, certificates, or API keys.
7. Retention, rights, and changes
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, reset it, or remove the app. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or share it with advertising or analytics providers.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information. Contact purecodebase@gmail.com for a privacy request. We may update this policy when the app, legal requirements, or data practices change; the effective date above will be updated with material revisions.
