1. Controller
This policy describes how PureCodeBase (owner: Nico Wuerthenberger) processes data in QR Vault Offline.
2. Scope
This page applies only to the app QR Vault Offline.
3. Data We Process
3.1 Local QR and App Data
- Created QR payloads, scanned QR payloads, library entries, notes, favorites, and app settings stored on your device
- Optional encrypted local data when you enable encrypted storage
- Device-local metadata required to render the app, store preferences, and keep your vault usable offline
3.2 Ads and Purchase Related Data
- Limited ad request and consent-related metadata handled by Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
- Free-tier ads are requested only as non-personalized ads
- Purchase status, entitlement, and transaction metadata for the one-time premium unlock handled by Apple App Store billing and RevenueCat
- No raw payment card data is processed by us
4. Third-Party Processors / SDKs
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK (free-tier ad delivery, limited to non-personalized requests)
- Google UMP (consent and ad privacy forms where legally required)
- RevenueCat (premium entitlement management and purchase state)
- Apple App Store billing (purchase processing and refunds)
5. Legal Basis and Consent
- Local QR creation, scanning, offline storage, and vault functionality: contract necessity / legitimate interest
- Optional encrypted storage and biometric gating: only after your explicit in-app choice
- Ad-related consent and privacy choices: only where required by law and according to Google's consent flow
- QR Vault Offline does not use an in-app App Tracking Transparency prompt for personalized advertising in its current iOS release
6. Data Retention
QR data and settings are stored primarily on your device. If you remove the app or clear local app data, stored QR content may be lost. Third-party providers retain purchase, entitlement, and ad-related data according to their own policies and legal obligations.
7. Security and Encryption
Encrypted storage is optional. When enabled, QR Vault Offline creates a device-local encryption key and re-writes sensitive vault content in encrypted form. This is not a cloud backup system, and losing the secure local key material may make protected data unreadable.
8. Your Rights
- Access, correction, deletion, and objection rights as provided by applicable law
- Withdrawal of consent at any time, without retroactive effect
- Support requests via the contact email listed below
