1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using QR Vault Offline, you agree to these Terms.
2. License
We grant a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use of the app.
3. Free Tier, Premium, and Ads
- The app may be offered as a free download with limited vault capacity, limited scan history, free-tier QR image watermarks, and ads.
- The premium offering is a one-time unlock that removes ads and QR image watermarks and expands app functionality.
- Premium purchases are processed through Apple App Store billing. Refund handling follows Apple's platform rules.
- The free tier currently requests non-personalized ads only.
4. Local Storage and Encryption
- QR data, history, and settings are primarily stored locally on your device.
- Optional encrypted storage and biometric protection are convenience and privacy features, not backup services.
- We are not responsible for data loss caused by app deletion, device reset, storage clearing, failed migration, or loss of device-secure key material.
5. Acceptable Use
- No unlawful use, reverse engineering, exploit abuse, or interference with store billing or third-party SDK behavior.
- No use of the app to distribute harmful, fraudulent, or illegal QR-linked content.
6. Availability and Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. Certain features depend on platform services, device capabilities, connectivity, or regional availability.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of the app.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
